High Tech Drones Used in Archaeology

The traditional tools of the trade for archaeologists are shovels and hand trowels. But Dartmouth College researchers Jesse Casana and Chad Hill are using something decidedly more high-tech: drones. By using drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras they can cut the time needed for initial surveys of an area of interest from months to minutes. Check out the full article here.
