DJI Announces New Mavic 2 Drones

DJI has announced the release of two new Mavic 2 drones.

The first is the Mavic 2 Pro. It features a f2.8 28mm adjustable aperture camera developed by Hasselblad. The 1" sensor will produce 20 MP images. It will shoot 4k video in Dlog-M (10bit) and supports HDR video (HLG 10bit). Price for the Mavic 2 Pro is $1,449.

The second new drone announced today is the Mavic 2 Zoom. It features a 1/2.3" sensor with a 24-48mm optical zoom lens. The Zoom also has a new feature DJI is calling "Super Resolution." A 48MP photo is created using optical zoom shooting and stitching 9 photos together. Price for the Mavic 2 Zoom is $1,249.

Both models feature an outstanding 31 minute flight time. Front, rear, side, top and bottom sensors provide Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing and an improved FlightAutonomy system brought over from the Mavic Air make flying safer than ever.

Both also include 8gb of internal memory for storing photos and video. 

There are some new flight modes, the ability to easily shoot Hyperlapse movies, and enhanced HDR photos with up to 14 stops of dynamic range. Check out all the new features at DJI's site.
